How Can I Set Up Google Analytics with my Blog?

It is possible to add Google Analytics tracking to your blog to see how many visits each blog post is receiving.  

You will need to create a Google Analytics account with Google first.

Be sure that your Google Analytics account is set to: A single domain

And not to: One domain with multiple subdomains

And that the URL you have entered into Google Analytics is: www.YOURBLOGDOMAIN.com (if you have mapped a custom domain to Kalatu)

OR
www.DOMAINYOUCHOSE.com/SITENAME  (if you have NOT mapped a custom domain to Kalatu)

If you are unsure of the domain you should use, please contact our Customer Support Team.

Please refer to Google's settings and help section for where to check these settings and adjust them. Since Google often changes the appearance and location of settings Empower Network will be unable to assist in the specific instructions of where the change these settings.

You will need to enter the tracking code that Google provides into Empower Network blog. To do so, follow the steps below:

  • Login to your Empower Network account, hover over My Account and click on Kalatu Blogging System.

  • On the left side of your dashboard, is a menu.  Hover over Plugins & Applications and click on Analytics and Code. On this page you will see Google Analytics. Enter in your code in the format example here: UA-435353-01

  • Once you have entered your code, click the blue “Save Changes” button.
