What Do I Do If My Payment Declines?

If you are attempting to sign up for Empower Network, buy a new Empower Network product, or update your credit card information, you may have received one of several error messages. 

These messages could indicate a few different errors that we encountered when attempting to process your card. As a rule of thumb, please make sure of the following:

  • Contact the Customer Service Department of your financial institution and alert them of the transaction(s) you are attempting to make with Empower Network. It is not uncommon for a bank to be on high alert with online transactions.

  • Verify that all billing information has been entered properly, and completely (check for typos and blank fields)

  • Do not attempt a single payment more than one or two times. After too many failed attempts, your card may be locked out for a certain amount of time.
